Contact & Help

Due to strict parliamentary convention, Mark is only able to deal with the cases of those who reside in his constituency.

To check whether you live in Mark’s constituency, Click here.

The best way to contact Mark is through post or email – it avoids mistakes or confusion that can be made over the telephone, provides him with all the relevant documentation, gives him explicit permission to act on your behalf and allows cases to be dealt with more quickly.

When writing, please ensure that you include all the information and documentation relevant to your case, as well as your full address (including postcode) and any applicable reference numbers. If you are writing on behalf of somebody else, please include a letter from them authorising you to act on their behalf. I am afraid this is necessary owing to data protection regulations.

Should you wish to make an appointment you must first outline your case in writing. As a central London MP, Mark receives a heavy caseload (with a very high number of cases on housing and immigration) and many complaints can be resolved speedily via correspondence. If something cannot be resolved in this way, Mark will then arrange a meeting in the House of Commons with constituents. This allows Mark to prioritise those cases that he is best placed to assist with and are particularly problematic.

Uniquely the Houses of Parliament are located within Mark’s constituency which is well served for public transport and this arrangement allows Mark to be flexible (rather than limiting appointments to one particular morning or afternoon a week) and avoids the hiring of a public venue at further expense to the taxpayer.
